Do you provide internet access?
All suites are equipped with a hardwired high-speed internet connection. Charges are $9.95 per day, $29.95 per week or $44.95 per month, plus tax. We do not have wireless internet.

Do you provide cribs/ playpens/ cots?
A limited number of cribs and playpens are available. Cost for each is $10.00 plus tax per night. We do not provide cots. Our suites have a double pull-out sofa.

Is there a business centre?
Lord Stanley Suites On The Park provides fax, photocopy and printing services at the front desk. Internet access is available in each suite.

Are there fitness facilities?
An exercise room and dry saunas are available 24 hours a day. There is no charge for our guests to use these facilities.

Is there air conditioning in the suites?
Vancouver does not typically have hot weather; however, occasionally temperatures can rise. We do not have central air conditioning, although each suite is equipped with its own air conditioning unit. Fans are also available upon request.

Is parking available?
Secured underground parking is available and can be arranged upon check-in. Rates are $20.00 plus tax per day or $200.00 plus tax per month; both options include in and out privileges. (rates subject to change)

Are you located in a safe area?
Lord Stanley is located in Vancouver’s West End, a quiet residential area. It is safe to walk around at night although being in a large city, normal pre-cautions should be taken.

Are restaurants and cafes nearby?
Denman and Robson Streets offer a variety of restaurants from fast food to top rated seafood restaurants, as well as ethnic specialties. You will also find your favourite coffee cafes just steps away. There’s bound to be something to appeal to any palate!

What recreational amenities are nearby?
World famous Stanley Park has hiking, biking, roller blading and jogging trails, picnic areas, beaches, tennis courts and an outdoor swimming pool. Many people enjoy taking a stroll along the picturesque Seawall. Great fun can be had for children and adults. The West End Community Centre is also a few blocks away with a library, indoor skating rink, gym and recreational activities.

Are you close to public transportation?
A bus stop is located half a block from our front door! Various transit options are available depending on your destination. Our concierge can easily help you plan your route to ensure that you get to your destination in a timely and enjoyable fashion. Where is the nearest grocery store and what are its hours?
Safeway, a major supermarket is located two blocks away, at the corner of Robson and Denman Streets. It is open from 7:00 AM–12:00 Midnight.

Capers Whole Foods Market which specializes in natural and organic foods, is three blocks away on Robson Street. It is open from 8:00 AM–10:00 PM.

What kinds of transportation are available from Vancouver International Airport (YVR)?
1) Taxi is the most convenient. The fare is approximately $35.00. It is about a 30 minute ride from the airport to Lord Stanley.
2) YVR Airporter shuttle service. The closet drop off location is The Westin Bayshore Hotel. From there it is a 10 minute walk to Lord Stanley.
3) Public Transit. Take the new Canada Line Light Rapid Transit from the Airport into Downtown Vancouver in 25 minutes. Then transfer onto a bus or take a taxi to our front door. Visit www.translink.bc.ca to plan your route.

How far is Lord Stanley from the US border?
It is approximately an hour drive from Lord Stanley. There are several border crossings which you can access. Our concierge can assist with directions.

How far is Lord Stanley from major attractions in downtown?
